Thalassarche melanophris

This subadult was seen on the sea south of Peninnis Head, St. Mary's, the 26th record for Britain. It was seen on September 21st 2009 and it was filmed by Bob Flood.

Thalassarche melanophris

This bird is on it's 2nd summer in the North Sea. This summer it suddenly appeared on Agger tange, Denmark on July 31st, August 1st, August 4th, August 6th, and then it spent the night from August 8th to 9th. This made it a safe twitch in the morning and it was then it was filmed by Alex Sand Frich!

This bird was found at Skagen Denmark om May 25th 2014, but was first seen at Helgoland on May 28th, and the was the 2nd record for Germany. It was filmed by Frank Schulz on June 12th.

Black-browed Albatross

This bird is the Helgoland-bird, and it is now back for the second year. Again this year the bird was found at Hirtshals harbor, this year on May 7th 2015 by Copenhagen birder Lars Paaby in the morning and it fortunately was roosting for about 3 hours. It was filme by Anders Nielsen.

This bird was found by Jimmy Skat Hansen at Skagen on May 25th-26th 2014. I was then seen at Helgoland, Germany May 28th-29th, June 4th-5th and June 12th-13th. A report of a bird seen in Dorset, UK July 5th might be this bird.
On July 17th - 18th the bird was back in Skagen, this time found by Knud Pedersen, the bird flew west on the 18th but was refound at Hirtshals harbor 50km south west by Kurt Prentow the same morning, and seen here for one hour and 37 minutes, it was here the bird was filmed by Rasmus Strack and Lars Paaby.

This bird was seen at Hovs hallar - Mellbystrand, Skåne/Halland on May 19th 2001 and it was seen aigen the next day. It was filmed by Magnus Unger at Kattvik on May 19th.
