Until 2011 only eighteen records of nineteen birds were made in sweden.
This bird was discussed as a Short-billed Dowitcher but finally correctly identified as a Long-billed Dowitcher. It was seen at Lövsta-pumpen, Asköviken, Dingtuna sn (Västmanland) from April 28th 2013 until at least today May 6th.
