This bird was first found in Febuary 2008 at San Cibrao, Cervo, NE Galicia, and then again in March - April 2010 at nearby Lago (Xove). The bird was back at San Cibrao, Cervo in March 2011 and it was refound on March 10th 2013. This video was made by Delfin González on March 11th 2013.

This bird was found at Deltebre, Tarragona on December 31st. 2014, and it was seen on-off until at least Febuary 22nd 2015. It is the first record for Spain, and it was filmed by Jordi Sala on Febuary 17th.

This adult was found at La Massona, PN Aiguamolls de I'Empordà, Girona on December 13th 2014, and it was a new bird to the Spanish list. The bird remained at least until January 10th 2015.

This adult Abyssinian Roller was found by Alain Pataud at Barranco de la Torre on Fuerteventura at the Canaries on June 9th 2014, a new bird to the WP-list.  The bird is shy, behaving wild and with no traces or signs of captivity hence considered a wild vagrant.
The bird remained in the area until at least June 16th.
