Griffon Vulture
Gyps fulvus
In the late afternoon of June 16th 2013, Lars Gunnar Nilsson saw this Vulture flying over his garden! The bird landed in a tree at Piperskärr, Västervik Småland and was seen by many twitchers in the evening. The next morning the bird was refound in the tree at 03:30, and it flew off at 10:30.
This 4th record in Sweden was filmed by Timo Samanen.
