Western Sandpiper
Calidris mauri
This Western Sandpiper was the first of Norway and the second in Scandinavia following a bird seen at Rönnen, Skälderviken, Skåne on August 19th to 22nd 1988.
The Norwegian bird, an adult, was found at Revtangen, Klepp, Rogaland on July 12th 2008, and it was filmed by Anders Hangård on the following and last day.
