This adult Franklin's Gull was found at Chasewater, Staffordshire on July 15th 2010, and the bird was seen in the area until August 1st. It was filmed by Philip Parsons at Gailey reservoir Staffs on  August 1st at 8.00 pm. It was filmed at a distance of approx 100 metres.
This is still a rare bird in the UK, but the species is seen almost annually.
