Pallas's Sandgrouse

Syrrhaptes paradoxus

This bird was found at Askola, Lappeenranta on July 29th 2010 and it was seen until August 2nd.
The highest temperature ever recorded was on July 29th, 2010, when 35°C was exceeded in several places (the maximum being 37.2°C in Joensuu). 
It was the eighth in Finland, and the first twitchable.
