White-throated Sparrow
Zonotrichia albicollis
This bird was the 3rd Irish record and the 2nd for Cape Clear. It was a 1cy bird and it was seen from October 12th until October 18th 2008.
Cape Clear was host of the first Irish record in April 1967, the only other Irish record was a well watched bird in bird Duncrue Street Marsh, Belfast, Down, from December 1984 to May 1985.
This bird was filmed by Mícheál Cowming in October 2008.
