Greater Sand Plover
Charadrius leschenaultii
The first bird was found at Norrvik, Ottenby, Öland on July 13th 2003 and seen until July 18th. The second bird, a adult male, was found at Stora Ören, Öland on July 19th and seen until July 28th 2003.
Both birds was filmed by Timo Samanen, on July 15th and July 20th, they were the 8th and 9th record in Sweden.
