Hermit Thrush
Catharus guttatus
This was the 2nd Irish record, the first having been in 1998. This is one of the rarest of the North American thrushes to have occurred in Europe, with only 7 records in Britain.
This 1cy bird was found at Cape Clear on October 19th 2006 and it was seen aigain the next day.
It was filmed by Mícheál Cowming on October 20th 2006.
