A true mega, found and filmed by Hans Larsson at Stenshuvud, Scania on October 27th. The bird were found at 11.11 AM and flew south 13.48 PM, and it was only seen by approximately 60 birders.

White-rumped Swift is a rare visitor in nortern Europe.
Only one record in the UK, a bird was seen only a few minutes on September 16th 2007 at Cresswell Pond, Northumberland.
In Finland a bird was seen at Kestilä on November 18th 1968.
In Norway there are tow records of three birds, the first was a bird seen at Jomfruland May 18th 1984 and two birds were seen at Lervik June 15th 1986.
