Purple Heron
Ardea purpurea
This bird an adult was found at Seafield, Bunmahon, Co. Waterford on March 27th 2012 and was seen until April 27th. It was the first record since 2006 in Ireland, and only the 22nd in total. It was filmed by Mícháel Cowming on March 27th.
